Ferienwohnung Schirla Stub´m

The Schirla-Stub’m is idyllically situated on the southern slope of the Spielberg mountain in the beautiful Salzburger Land, right in the middle of the Gaißau-Hintersee hiking and skiing area, in the village of Krispl. It is only about 25 kilometers from the city of Salzburg. By car, depending on traffic, it takes about 30 to 40 minutes to reach the city center.

With us, a special experience awaits you: The guesthouse offers a rustic, cozy dining room with hearty farmhouse cuisine and regional specialties. The guesthouse is closed in summer, but the garden invites you to relax with seating options. The Schirla-Stub’m has been a popular stop for hikers and connoisseurs since 1979.

A playground is nearby and provides entertainment for younger guests. Model flying is even possible on our property – a highlight for hobby pilots! Our cozy communal lounge, which you can use with other guests, provides opportunities for socializing.

We do not have any animals here, but instead, plenty of peace, nature, and a family atmosphere.

Our spacious holiday apartment offers space for up to 10 people with 4 bedrooms, 2 sofa beds, a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, 2 WCs, balcony, Wi-Fi, and TV. Bed linen and towels are provided.

☀️ Summer Activities

In summer, you are right in the middle of the Gaißau-Hintersee hiking paradise. Numerous hiking trails – from leisurely to challenging – start directly from the house. Particularly popular is the tour to the Spielbergalm, where a magnificent view and an alpine snack await you. Mountain bike fans will also find varied routes around Krispl. If you want to cool off in the water, you can swim in Hintersee or Fuschlsee – both are reachable in about 30 minutes.

The Alm-Erlebnisweg Krispl is a great family experience – a themed trail with many exciting stations. For culture and city flair, a trip to the city of Salzburg, only 25 km away, is worthwhile – with Mirabell Palace, Old Town, zoo, and much more.

❄️ Winter Activities

In winter, the Gaißau-Hintersee ski area is right on your doorstep – the lift passes by our house. Family-friendly slopes, cozy huts, and snow fun for all levels await you.

Tobogganing, winter and snowshoe hiking, and cross-country skiing are also possible in the region – perfect for those who want to experience winter actively.

A special tip is to visit Salzburg's Old Town in winter with its romantic Christmas market. For relaxation afterwards, thermal baths such as Aqua Salza Golling or Therme Amadé are ideal – both reachable in about 45 minutes.
