When stress and hustle take a break, summer begins at Ferienhof Muxel.
At approximately 750 meters above sea level, on the edge of the Schetteregg hiking area, our farm is the ideal starting point for relaxing days in nature.
Swimming pools, mountain railways, and wonderful hikes are all nearby – and from three nights onwards, you can even use all of this for free with the Bregenzerwald & Großes Walsertal Guest Card.
While cows and calves spend the summer on the alpine pasture, our ducks, rabbits, and goats at the farm look forward to visitors and a stroke or two.
Fresh raw milk as well as chicken and quail eggs are available directly from the farm.

At the same time, fantastic ski slopes and winter hiking trails await you in the nearby family and children's ski resort Schetteregg.
Larger ski resorts and perfectly groomed cross-country ski trails can be reached in a short time.

Butter and cheese made from the hay milk of our dairy cows can be purchased at the nearby cheese dairy in Lingenau.
Many different animals live with us on the farm.
They are looking forward to your visit.
Our cows and calves spend the summer on the alpine pasture. However, the hay harvest is then in full swing, and we are happy to introduce you to life and work on the farm. Back at the farm, our small animals look forward to visitors and your cuddles.

This inviting retreat features two distinct bedrooms: one serene bedroom with a comfortable double bed, and a second spacious bedroom boasting two luxurious king-size beds. We are happy to provide you with a cot free of charge upon request.

Leave the Rheintal motorway at the Dornbirn Nord exit and drive towards Alberschwende/Bregenzerwald. After approx. 13 kilometers you will reach Egg. Exit the roundabout in the town center at the third exit towards Großdorf. After 1.8km turn right onto Schluh, then after 1km turn right again onto Schmarütte.
