Arrival
By car
Arriving in Vorarlberg via Bregenz or Bludenz/Feldkirch, take the A14 (Rheintalautobahn) and take the Dornbirn Nord exit. At the roundabout, take the second exit towards Bregenzerwald (L200). The L200 leads you through the Achrain tunnel into the Bregenzerwald. Drive through the municipality of Alberschwende until the junction for Müselbach (Lingenau/Hittisau) and turn left. Follow the road over the high bridge through the municipality of Lingenau until the turn-off (on the right) to Hittisau/Sibratsgfäll. Pass through the center of Hittisau and turn into a side street directly between Hotel Krone and the village fountain. After about 1 kilometer, this road will lead you directly to our house on the right-hand side.
Alternatively, coming from Germany, you can drive via the German motorway to Kempten - Immenstadt - Oberstaufen - border crossing Aach im Allgäu - Riefensberg - Krumbach to Hittisau.
Arriving by public transport is very convenient!
Thanks to the Gäste Card Bregenzerwald & Großes Walsertal, you can use the buses for free in summer for stays of 3 nights or more!
Arrival by bus:
- The bus stop is located directly in the village (about 800 m from our house)
- With the regional bus 820 you can reach Hittisau from Bregenz every half hour, and with the regional bus 850 from Dornbirn to Hittisau every hour.
Arrival by train:
- The nearest train station in Dornbirn is approx. 22 km away
- You can get from the train station to us by bus
- Trains usually run once an hour on weekdays and once an hour on weekends and public holidays.
Catering services at the farm and in the immediate vicinity:
- You can get fresh cow's milk directly at our farm.
- At a distance of about 800 m you will find the grocery stores SPAR and SUTTERLÜTY, the Weltladen (One World Shop), the butcher's shop, and the cheese dairy in Hittisau.
- All inns and restaurants are also located in the center of Hittisau.
Bicycle rental:
- Available at the Intersport Spettel or Gotthard shops in Hittisau
