About Us

Our farm is located in the middle of the Göstlinger Alps, on the Königsberg. Quiet and far removed from the noise of the street at 874 m over sea level, our farm provides adventure as well as relaxation for the entire family. Our vacation home has been furnished with loving attention to detail and is set in an idyllic, sunny location. It sleeps up to 8 people, and offers 115 m² of space on two floors. It includes two bedrooms, a kitchen, two living(bed)rooms, a bathroom with shower and WC, and a private carport. Head outdoors where an inviting little spot with seating and a hammock is perfect for relaxing. We also provide a grill and all accessories, or you can use the fire pit near our cabin, which is also located on the property and is surrounded by natural habitat. Our youngest guests will have fun discovering everything in and around the house. We have a large playground, and our animals love to be petted. Discover all of the beautiful nature surrounding us during a hike over the fields and on the paths. One of these paths leads directly to the nearby Siebenhüttenalm. The Alm is approximately a two-hour hike from our farm. Enjoy the sunny location on our mountain farm while restoring body, mind, and spirit. We are looking forward to your visit!  

Animals

Approximately 30 cattle live on our farm. They spend summers grazing in the meadow or on the nearby alm.
Chickens, rabbits, a Haflinger mare named Mandy, and a gelding named Winni also live in our barn.
Our cats are always happy to be petted.

Arrival
Drive through the town past the Raiffeisenbank and the Sparmarkt towards the church. Take a right turn after you pass the church. Take a sharp left after the yellow-blue Volksschule. Drive past the farmers' marketing co-op Klösch, then continue for 100 meters until you reach the long driveway to our house. A large green sign identifies the Ferienhaus Zwickelreith. Follow the driveway for 3 km up the mountain. There will be a red and white arrow at every fork in the road which indicates the correct direction to our farm. 

Mostviertel Region

This is a region of contrasting landscapes connecting a rolling countryside and fertile soils in the northern part with the wild and romantic mountain scenery in the south. Here, you’ll find traditional farms surrounded by meadows, forests, streams and pastures that are home to all kinds of animals. The most iconic types of fruit are pears and Cornelian cherries. The farmers produce particularly delightful culinary treats. This is the ideal destination for hikers and families.
