Our Ferienhaus Hinterpointleiten is nestled amid beautiful mountain landscapes at 1200 meters above sea level. The stand-alone location and historic farmhouse aren’t the only things that make a holiday at the Hinterpointleitenhof such an unforgettable experience: the views of the surrounding mountains and valleys are also an extraordinary highlight.

SUMMER:
Numerous hiking, mountaineering and mountain bike routes lead directly past this holiday home. Due to the elevation, the alpine pastures are not far away. In fact, the closest mountain hut is barely a 20 min on foot.

The children can spend the day on the playground, out on the green meadows or in the forest. One thing is for certain: Out in nature, there are so many exciting things just waiting to be experienced.

Our two cats really love to be spoiled by their new playmates.

INSIDER TIP: The countryside surrounding Ferienhaus Hinterpointleiten is an absolute paradise for berry and mushroom collectors. The mushrooms are the perfect side dish for your grill night, while the sweet berries from the forest will be a healthy dessert.

WINTER:
You will wake up surrounded by mountains blanketed deep in snow. A winter’s dream come true: Right outside your holiday home, you will be able to sled down the snow-covered hillsides, build a snowman, or get into a snowball fight. Whenever you wish, enjoy shared moments in the warm parlor sipping on a mug of hot chocolate.

A winter holiday spent at Ferienhaus Hinterpointleiten unites the joys of skiing with an authentic hut experience. In about 20 minutes, you will reach the valley lift station in St Johann Alpendorf, your gateway to the “Snow Space Salzburg” ski region with over 250 kilometers of pistes.

The road leading up to Ferienhaus Hinterpointleitn is always kept ploughed, making your arrival pleasant and safe. We strongly recommend you bring snow chains!

This 300-year-old holiday home accommodates up to 13 people, divided into three double rooms, one room with a double bed and single bed, and one room with two bunkbeds for children.

The house features one bathroom with shower and bathtub, and two separate WCs.
It also offers a fully equipped kitchen (wood stove, electric range, sink, coffeemaker, crockery/cutlery/pots & pans, and a dishwasher) as well as a pantry to store food and drinks.

In summer, the sun-terrace can be used to enjoy grill evenings together.

Please bring your own bedding and towels.
