Panorama Ferienhaus Stopfer – Vacation with Soul
There are places that feel like a little time-out from everyday life – because here you can leave everything behind. The Panorama Vacation Home at the Stopferhof is exactly such a place. 🌿 Nestled between meadows and mountains, it is secluded and yet right in the heart of life: no road noise, no hustle and bustle – just nature and warm hospitality. 🤍
The cozy apartment accommodates up to 4 people and is ideal for families, couples, peace-seekers, and nature lovers. The living and dining area leads directly onto the private terrace with a garden, porch swing, hammock, and an unobstructed view of the Alps 🏔️.
Those who wish can get a glimpse of farm life: collect a fresh breakfast egg straight from the chicken coop 🥚🐓, help with the fruit harvest 🍎, or simply stroll across the adjacent meadows and pastures. The Stopferhof is a small mountain farm with chickens, a dog🐕, cats 🐈, and cows that graze on the neighboring pasture in summer.
All around the vacation home, special spots invite you to pause and linger: a hill with a fire pit 🔥 and views of the Karawanks, and a small historic chapel. 🚶♀️Hikers and cyclists can start right from the doorstep, and those looking for water will find several lakes nearby – including Lake Flatschacher, Lake Maltschacher, Lake Ossiach, and Lake Wörthersee. The town of Feldkirchen, with shopping facilities, cafes, and a supermarket, is only 8 km away.
Your hosts, Gerlinde & Fredi
The Stopferhof has been family-owned for four generations. Where the vacation home stands today, the "Stopfer-Hube" was already documented in 1681. Today, Gerlinde and Alfred "Fredi" Walze run the farm with great passion ❤️.
Farm products and catering
Just a few steps from the Stopferhof, there is a small, lovely farm shop at the neighboring farm. Depending on the season, you will find regional specialties here – straight from the producer and with the full flavor of Carinthian nature.
Animals
The Stopferhof is a small but lively farm with cows, calves, chickens, our loyal dog Luna 🐕 and a few playful cats 🐈. In summer, cows and calves graze on the adjacent pasture. The chickens provide fresh breakfast eggs, and anyone who likes is welcome to visit them in the coop. Luna greets guests warmly and loves being petted, while the cats roam around curiously and enjoy some company.

The ground-level, wheelchair-accessible Panorama holiday home combines modern comfort with rustic charm. The heart of the house is the bedroom with a comfortable box-spring bed for two people, plus a single room (soon to be expanded) and a pull-out sofa bed for up to two additional guests. For families, a cot and a high chair are available upon request.
The fully equipped kitchen offers everything for culinary moments – from a refrigerator, dishwasher, stove, and coffee maker to a nostalgic wood stove for cooking and baking. The extendable dining table seats up to six people.
The bathroom is equipped with a shower, toilet, and washing machine. Additional amenities include: TV, Wi-Fi, radio, anteroom with a wardrobe, central heating, roller shutters, and fly screens. Drying facilities are also available.
