About Us
The farm Ferdlhof has existed for over 400 years. Already since 1997, it has been meeting organic farming standards.
In 2022, we, Johannes and Christina, took over the farm. We now continue to run it as our main occupation. We are passionate about animal husbandry and animal welfare is our top priority. We also want our guests to share in the joy of being with the animals.
We are very happy to provide insights into our daily work. Anyone who would like to throw on rubber boots and gloves is cordially invited to actively participate. Work is never monotonous with us. Apart from the daily work in the barn, our diverse farm (we grow potatoes, fruit and vegetables in the garden) offers a variety of tasks all year round.

On our farm, rooster Barney lives with his 25 ladies in our self-built mobile henhouse. Our cat Alfred loves the attention of the guests and is always with them.
A bunch of chamois coloured goats are roaming around the farm. They expand our product range by providing organic goat’s milk.

Holiday Apartment
1 - 6 People
The spacious holiday apartment with 2 bedrooms, kitchen and separate bathroom/WC is located on the first floor of the main house. The first floor was built in 1900 as a grain store and later converted into living quarters.
The apartment was renovated in 2022.
We have carefully tried to maintain a balance between modern style and old charm. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, electric cooker, fridge with freezer, coffee brewer, toaster, electric kettle, etc. Pets can be brought along by prior arrangement. A welcome package with locally sourced organic products for the first snack can be added on request.
