The Faschinghütte is quietly and sunnily situated on an elevated position between Bischofshofen and Mühlbach am Hochkönig in the beautiful Salzburg region. From here, you have a fantastic view of the surrounding mountains. The renovated alpine hut is a real gem – rustic, cozy, and equipped with all comforts.

With 250 m² of living space, the Faschinghütte offers room for up to 16 people – ideal for families of friends or small groups who want to relax together. The large eat-in kitchen is modernly equipped and invites you to cook together. The Swedish stove with a viewing window provides cozy warmth and an authentic alpine hut feeling. A total of six bedrooms await you.

A special highlight: your own sauna hut and an open-air hot tub – perfect for unwinding after an active day in nature. The large sun terrace is perfect for cozy summer evenings. Here you can barbecue, chat, and simply enjoy the tranquility.

Summer

Numerous hiking trails and mountain bike routes start directly from the hut. Within a 20-minute radius, you can reach the outdoor swimming pool in Bischofshofen or the swimming lake in St. Johann. The town of Bischofshofen is also only nine kilometers away – here you'll find everything you need: shops, cafés, restaurants, and excursion destinations.

Winter

In winter, you can reach the Mühlbach am Hochkönig ski area in just 6 kilometers. It is part of Ski Amadé and offers perfectly groomed slopes for every level. Winter hikers, snowshoeing enthusiasts, and those seeking peace and quiet will also find what they're looking for. Afterwards, the best way to end the day is by the fireplace or in the hot tub.

The hut is accessible by car all year round. Pets are not allowed. Please note: The Faschinghütte is not a party hut – it stands for relaxation amidst nature.
