The Eseialm is located at 1,287 meters above sea level in the quiet Göriachtal valley, in the middle of the impressive mountain world of the Salzburger Lungau. Secluded from the hustle and bustle, surrounded by dense forests and lush alpine meadows, it is the perfect retreat for nature lovers, peace seekers and adventurers. Despite its secluded location, it is only 3 km from the village of Göriach and can be reached by car.

The hut - rustic flair for up to 15 people

Our self-catering hut combines rustic charm with simple coziness:

• First floor: entrance hall, eat-in kitchen with wood-burning stove, large corner bench for sociable evenings, two double rooms, storage room and outhouse.
• Upper floor: Large bedroom with two single beds and two bunk beds (possibly 3 additional beds) - perfect for families and groups.
• Bathing hut: Additional double room and a bathroom with shower, washbasin and WC (hot water from bath heater).
• Light & electricity: Thanks to the solar system, there is electric light, but no sockets.

Outside - enjoy pure nature

•     Large garden with campfire site for cozy evenings under the stars.
•     Spacious terrace with views of alpine meadows, wild animals and mountain panorama.
•     Spring water fountain as a natural fridge for drinks and food.
•     Fenced area - ideal for families with children.
•     Solar shower in summer for a refreshing shower or cooling down.

🌱 Spring (March - May)

•  Flowering time of the alpine crocus
•  Birth of the first fawns & deer calves
•  Spruce tops & fresh wild herbs
•  Silence of nature - solitary hikes

☀️ Summer (June - August)

•  Gentian and alpine rose blossom from 1,500m
•  Wild strawberries & blueberries
•  Chanterelles, porcini mushrooms & parasols
•  Perfect time for hiking, mountain biking & wildlife spotting

🍂 Autumn (September - November)

•  Cranberry & mushroom picking
•  Deer rutting season - an impressive natural spectacle
•  Colorful forests & mystical wafts of mist
•  Silence & solitary hikes

•  Ski tours, cross-country skiing & tobogganing
•  Game feeding & atmospheric Christmas markets
•  Crystal-clear starry nights & snow-covered landscapes
