About Us

Welcome!

Our Organic Experience Farm is located in the hinterland on the eastern shore of Lake Attersee, directly on the hiking trail 'Around the Wachtberg'. With us, you will find peace, relaxation, nature experiences, and enjoyment – depending on your wishes and mood.

At the Bruckbacher's

Our house/farm name 'Bruckbacher' will stick in your mind: Because no matter from which direction you approach our farm, you always have to cross a bridge over a stream first 😉. The farmhouse stands amidst the meadows and pastures of our organic dairy cows. It is built from river stones. 

The Troadkastn – your holiday apartment for arriving, going offline, and enjoying…

Right next door, we have completely rebuilt our 'Troadkasten' with wood from our own forest – as a modernly equipped holiday apartment for families and nature enthusiasts. On the terrace, you sit amidst our pear tree; in the garden, you can pick salad and herbs or check if the birds have left anything for you at the snack hedge. How about spending the night in the Indian tipi or in the Hoarstubn amidst the cows? Our big and small animals look forward to your visit, and if you feel like it, your help with stable and field work is very welcome. You can find peace with forest bathing in our own forest and then at our 'secret meadow'. Perhaps the most beautiful thing is stargazing by the campfire. There, you can round off eventful or peaceful holiday days.

Our Farm-Produced Organic Products

  • Organic cow's milk specialties such as natural raw milk, natural yogurt, raw milk curd cheese, raw milk cream cheese, and fruit whey
  • Organic sourdough whey breads (Nussi, Sonne, and Landler)
  • Organic fruit spreads (Apricot, Serviceberry-Currant, Blackberry-Elderflower, Blackberry Jelly, Aronia-Raspberry)

  • about 40 hens laying white, sandy, brown and turquoise eggs
  • one cock surveying his ladies and protecting them from the fox
  • Romeo and Juliet - our waddling ducks, always nosy and chatty

Holiday Apartment 'Troadkastn' for 2 to 5 people

2 - 5 People

You reach the apartment over the stairs and a veranda. We combined modern with retro style to make you feel comfortable. The hall is spacious, two seperate bedrooms and a sofa bed provide for two to five people. The toilet is seperate from the bathroom, equipped with shower, wash basin and washing machine. The dining area has a new fitted kitchen providing every comfort. Enjoy your breakfast in the cosy dining corner next to the bay window. Fancy a lazy hour in front of TV or on the couch on the balcony.  The high-quality furniture is made of oiled solid wood. Natural materials and sustainable equipment are important to us as well as waste avoidance and recycling.

The apartment is also bookable with organic breakfast!

Arrival

If you arrive via the motorway A1 (exit: Seewalchen/Schörfling) turn left in Weyregg about 500 metres after Spar-supermarket or, arriving from the village Steinbach turn right after passing Weyregg church (in any case: indicate your travel via Bachtal in your navigation system!!!).

Follow the road for about 1 kilometre, take the right turn in direction to Bach at the first junction, go along this road for about 2 kilometres and turn right over a brigde (!) following the green sign 'Erlebnisbauernhof Bruckbacher' through the curvy road through the woods and take the first right after a small wooden shed. Here you are - welcome!
