Entachalm

Our Entachalmhütte is situated in a quiet, secluded location at around 1,000 meters above sea level above Maria Alm in the Hochkönig Region of Salzburger Land. Surrounded by an impressive mountain backdrop, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Steinerne Meer, the Selbhorn, and the Hochkönig massif. Despite its close-to-nature location, Maria Alm, Saalfelden, and Dienten am Hochkönig are all quickly accessible. 

🏡 Living & Well-being

The hut offers space for up to 8 people and combines traditional alpine hut charm with modern comfort. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and two WCs provide ample space for families and friends. The heart of the hut is the spacious eat-in kitchen with a wood-burning stove. After an active day in the mountains, you can relax in the relaxation room or recharge your batteries in the panoramic pine sauna. A special highlight is the heated outdoor Hot Pot. On the sun terrace, you can enjoy the tranquility of the secluded location and the view of the Hochkönig region's mountain world. For social evenings, a barbecue area with a fire bowl and matching grill grate is also available. Parking spaces are located directly at the hut.

☀️ Summer Holiday

In summer, the hut is the ideal starting point for hikes, mountain tours, and mountain bike excursions. Directly outside the front door, paths lead to popular destinations such as the Jufenalm, the Erichhütte, or the Steinerne Meer. Many managed alpine pastures invite you to stop for refreshments along the way. Families appreciate the experience offerings of the Hochkönig region and the proximity to our animals. Our cattle spend the summer on the alpine pastures, while the calves are often found near the hut. A bus stop and access to the hiking area are reachable within a few minutes' walk.

❄️ Winter Holiday at Hochkönig

In winter, the Entachalmhütte is located in the middle of one of the most beautiful winter sports regions of Salzburger Land. The Hochkönig ski area, with its famous Königstour, is reachable within a few minutes and offers perfectly groomed slopes for the whole family. Winter hiking trails, snowshoe routes, and ski touring opportunities are also in the vicinity. For families, tobogganing opportunities and other winter activities ensure varied holiday days. Thanks to regular snow clearing, arrival is easily possible even during the winter months.
