Our quaint and comfortable alpine hut is situated in a fantastic panoramic location at an altitude of 1,445 m, offering a breathtaking view of the majestic Hochkönig and the Steinerne Meer. Enjoy absolute tranquility in an idyllic, secluded setting; wake up in the morning only to the gentle ringing of cowbells, and step right out your hut door into a hiking paradise – just you, nature, and the mountains!

In summer, ideally situated for fantastic hikes around the "Steinerne Meer", you can reach the hut on a well developed alpine gravel path with your own car and find a wonderful mountain panorama as well as a wide range of hiking routes of every degree of difficulty and numerous mountain bike trails.
In front of the hut there is a large fountain with clear mountain spring water in drinking water quality and also serves to cool down for refreshing drinks.
There are also sun loungers and a new panorama swing with a magnificent view of the mountain massif. Many flowers and herbs complete the "almerian" hut atmosphere! Barbecue delicious young beef products from the Eder-farm "Ederbauer" on the campfire or enjoy a hearty snack in the surrounding alpine huts ...

In our cosy Ederhütte there are 2 to 3 bedrooms, each with shower/WC, and a comfortably equipped kitchen-cum-living room (with electric cooker incl. oven, refrigerator with freezer compartment, dishwasher, coffee machine and kettle), a large sitting area and a divan, as well as radio and TV.
A wood-burning stove creates a romantic hut atmosphere and on the large sunbathing lawn the best drinking water splashes in the natural fountain to refresh and cool your drinks.
Of course, there are plenty of seating and sun loungers, a wooden barbecue and a new panoramic swing for relaxing moments in the magnificent Almidyll.
Wellness should not be missed out either, and for this we equipped our hut last year with a great panorama sauna including a Swiss stone pine lounger and rain shower ...
Enjoy unlimited time with your loved ones away from the hustle and bustle and immerse yourself in the breathtaking natural scenery of the Hochkönig in Maria Alm!

Included in the price is the Hochkönig-Card with free and unlimited use of all summer mountain railways in the entire Hochkönig region, free hiking bus, swimming pool, summer toboggan run on the Biberg in Saalfelden and much more!
