About Us

Our mountain hut lies at approximately 1200 m above sea level and can be reached, summer as well as winter, by means of a paved road. Snow chains are required in winter!

The hut boasts magical views of the surrounding valleys and our magnificent mountain world. In addition, our stand-alone location treats guests to many hours of sunshine. The drinking water comes from our own spring, the wastewater flows through a plant-based treatment facility and part of our power is generated by our own photovoltaic cells.

The story:

In autumn 2020, we began a project close to our hearts – the Durchholzalm.

We were committed to high-quality building materials and close collaboration with local businesses. That’s why we decided in favor of wood-frame construction, which also produces an outstanding living climate. As we appointed the hut, we emphasized quality and precise workmanship. We laid Admont wood flooring and the furniture itself is made of solid wood. Furthermore, these chalets enjoy the convenience of an integrated smart-home system.

 

The ground floor of the chalet offers a large, beautiful living room/kitchen (approximately 50 m²) including sofa bed. In total, the Durchholzalm has 4 spacious bedrooms each with double bed, two baths and two separate toilets.

Additional amenities of this chalet include a drying room with boot dryer and washbasin, a large sunny balcony, sun-terrace as well as a play and sunbathing area.

For even greater relaxation, you will discover an infrared cabin and an adjacent sauna hut affording panoramic views.

Our accommodation has been awarded the quality seal "Premium Chalet" by the association Holidays on the Farm.

The chalet accommodates up to 8 people in 4 separate bedrooms, each with double bed. In the spacious bedrooms, with marvelous views of the Salzburger Sportwelt region, you can truly unwind and set your soul free.

The Durchholzalm features 2 baths with 2 separate toilets in total.

The infrared cabin and adjacent sauna hut with panoramic views promise pure regeneration.
