Welcome to the staffed Mountain Cabin Durchgangalm in Rauris in the Hohe Tauern National Park!

The staffed mountain cabin Durchgangalm awaits you at 1,742 m above sea level at the foot of the imposing Sonnblick in Rauris in the Hohe Tauern National Park. Here you can experience the pristine nature of the Rauris primeval forest and set off on numerous hikes of varying degrees of difficulty.

Enjoy the mountain air, marvel at the colourful alpine flora and observe the marmots, which are shy but too curious to escape your gaze. At night, you can marvel from the balcony or from the garden in front of the hut at how bright and clear the starry sky presents itself high up on the mountain.

For our younger guests there is also a nice playground in the guest garden.

Your room at the Durchgangalm:

Your room with balcony is located on the first floor of the Durchgangalm and has a double bed, a pull-out couch and an extra bed. It is ideal for 2 - 4 adults or 2 adults and up to four children. The room also has its own external bathroom with shower, WC and washbasin.

Enjoy alpine delicacies:

For breakfast we spoil you with homemade products, such as farmhouse bread, sausage, bacon, cheese and homemade jams.

You are also welcome to stop by after an active day in the mountains and try our Almjause with homemade beef, bacon, sausage, cheese, juices, schnapps, farmhouse bread and fresh cakes.

Arrival:

Access is only possible with an off-road car. If you wish, you can park at the "Lenzanger" car park, walking time to the hut approx. 30 minutes. We are happy to offer luggage transport to the hut by prior arrangement. Please note: Please arrange the pick-up appointment in good time, as there is no mobile phone reception at the car park on site!
