DEAR GUEST,

a warm welcome to our farm Drahtziehmühle!

Our farm is located in St. Oswald bei Freistadt. It’s your ideal place for a relaxing holiday and the perfect getaway from everyday life.

Each of our five rooms has a balcony with seats and features air conditioning with heat recovery. We put a great emphasis on sustainability in our building. We used wood from the former roof structure and wood from our own forests.

At our farm, there is so much to experience and discover:

• lying and seating options in the spacious garden, for example, a well-deserved break in the favourite spot under the old ash tree.
• Table tennis
• Campfire
• Grilling bread and sausages on a stick around the campfire
• An adventurous trip to our sheep barn including cuddles for the residents
• Every day is Easter - find the eggs in the hens’ nests
• The wild and outdoorsy can help us bring in the hay twice a year. (You will receive more information by email.)
• As there is always something to do on our organic farm, there are also many other ways to experience country life at first hand.
• We feed our animals exclusively with hay from our meadows. Nevertheless, we are in the countryside, and of course, on some days a little "whiff" can waft around the nose: It is called country air.
• Heated pool in the garden (5.5 x 2.7 x 1.2 m)
• Table soccer in the recreation room

Countless country walks in the immediate surroundings. You’re welcome to walk our dog Iris. If you fancy an extraordinary outdoor activity, you can check out the archery course in our village or book a ride in a horse-drawn carriage. There are also seven small ski resorts in our area, a 7 km cross-country ski trail and a golf course - both within 2 km from our farm. There are several museums, fruit spirit distilleries and country walks near St. Oswald.

We are happy to prepare dinner for you and us, your hosts, on request.
