With a pedal tractor and the fleet of vehicles, young hobby farmers can harvest grass for the animals. We also offer plenty of space in the fresh air for romping around, playing and some entertainment games. Farm holidays in the Bregenzerwald make children's dreams come true, and perhaps not only for the little ones, but also for the grown-ups.
The three-stage farm (home farm - Vorsäß - Alpe) is typical of the region. Our cows and cattle spend part of the summer on the alpine pasture. During this time, our chickens are out in the meadow and look forward to visitors. And of course the cats are happy to be stroked.
Sustainability you can feel and taste
At Dorner Hof, we live in harmony with nature – out of deep conviction and with genuine passion. Experience a holiday that is not only relaxing but also consistently eco-friendly. We generate our electricity cleanly and directly via our own photovoltaic system, while a modern wood chip heating system using wood from the surrounding forests ensures cozy warmth throughout the farm.
Our farm is managed strictly according to certified organic guidelines. We completely avoid pesticides and synthetic fertilizers, relying exclusively on organic feed and organic seeds. Since all our fields are located directly around the farm, we avoid unnecessary tractor journeys – this protects the climate and preserves the wonderful peace of nature. We also run errands for the farm in an environmentally friendly way with our electric car.
A special highlight is our year-round greenhouse, which is heated in winter via our wood chip system. This allows you to enjoy crisp, fresh lettuce and seasonal vegetables directly from the farm all year round. Discover our lovingly homemade and gently air-dried organic spelt pasta, as well as our charming farm shop filled with our own products and specialties from regional partners. As a special culinary experience, our Slow Food Market invites you to enjoy together once a month from May to October.
For an all-round green getaway, an eco-friendly journey by public transport is possible – perfect for a relaxed, car-free holiday in the Bregenzerwald.

Fresh towels are provided, and a crib/cot is available upon request. For an enhanced experience, guests also have access to our on-site sauna facilities.

This luxurious non-smoking retreat features two tranquil bedrooms, each appointed with a comfortable King-size bed, ensuring restful nights. Additional sleeping space is available on a convenient pull-out sofa bed, accommodating up to 6 guests. The heart of the apartment is a generous, fully equipped eat-in kitchen, ideal for preparing delicious meals.
Step out onto your private balcony or terrace to soak in breathtaking mountain and garden views, a perfect spot for morning coffee or evening relaxation. Unwind in your private sauna and refresh with our unique experience shower.

Once you arrive in Vorarlberg, take the A14 (Rheintal motorway) and exit at Dornbirn Nord. At the roundabout, take the second exit towards Bregenzerwald (L200). The L200 will lead you through the Achraintunnel into the Bregenzerwald. You will drive through the municipality of Alberschwende. After about 6.5 kilometers, turn left onto the B205 towards Müselbach and follow the road for approximately 6.5 kilometers in the direction of Hittisau. Then turn right towards Hittisau-Dorf (at the avanti petrol station) onto the L24. Drive straight through Hittisau. After a little over a kilometer, bear slightly right (continuing to follow the L24) towards Sibratsgfäll. Directly in the village, after Gasthof Hirschen, turn slightly right and then immediately right again into a cul-de-sac. After 80 meters, you will reach the Dorner Hof (Dorf 33).
You can also reach Dorner Hof very easily and conveniently by train and bus via the cities of Dornbirn or Bregenz. The Bregenzerwald bus will take you directly to the village center of Sibratsgfäll.
