The Saualmleitn is available for booking all year round. After a hike in autumn or in the snowy winter, our barrel sauna and a self-heating hot tub with a magnificent view of the Karawanks are perfect for relaxing. In addition, the small ski area of Eberstein-Saualpe (a T-bar lift at 1,650 meters above sea level), just a few kilometers away, is the perfect place especially for children to make their first turns. So-called uphill sledging is also very popular with holidaymakers and day guests. Whichever you choose, the Steinerhütte is ready for a stopover afterwards.
Not only our guests, but also the cows with their calves feel right at home on the Saualmleitn. Almost all day long, you can watch the friendly animals grazing peacefully in the pasture. Guaranteed deceleration included.

The apartment has been newly renovated and furnished to a high standard. Don't worry about a thing; everything you need is available on site. From a fully equipped kitchen with an induction hob, to a bathroom with towels and handmade natural soaps, to bedrooms with generous storage space. For groups of more than four people, we can offer an additional unit with a double bed, bathroom, and toilet on the ground floor of the building.

On the fully paved Saualpenstraße (L92), just before our entrance, all it takes is a slight turn to the left and you have already arrived in your own paradise of relaxation. A private gravel road then leads right up to the apartment. 100 meters before that, there are parking spaces for at least three cars.
Pure, gentle natural landscape meets the historic heart of Carinthia in this region. Numerous destinations such as Hochosterwitz Castle or Taggenbrunn invite you to explore by bike or on foot.
