Spend your well-deserved holiday on our hay-milk farm in the Montafon in Vorarlberg. The Därflihof. In the barrier-free holiday flat.
Enjoy the breathtaking view of the snow-covered peaks of the Rätikon, Silvretta and Verwall from your terrace.
Strap on your skis and explore the five top ski areas in the Montafon with over 230 kilometres of pistes. Equipped with snowshoes, make new tracks through the unspoilt nature on the numerous snowshoe routes and winter hiking trails here on the mountain.
Are you a cross-country skier or ski tourer? The Montafon naturally also offers opportunities to be active in winter.
And, in the spacious flat it's also cosy. With a good book in your hand or culinary delights from the region.
We live with the cycle of nature and therefore have seasonal products on the farm. Fresh raw milk and schnapps (from our own distillery) are available on the farm all year round.
Most of the milk is delivered several times a week to the largest dairy in Vorarlberg to produce fresh milk, yoghurt, cheese and other products. These Ländle products are available in all Sutterlüty and Spar branches.
As some of our cows are on the alpine pasture in summer, we get fresh Sura Kees (sour cheese) and alpine butter from there during the summer, which are made from the milk and are then also available at our farm.
Behind the house there is a farm garden where vegetables, herbs and berries are grown. Depending on the harvest, our guests receive herbs and berries directly from us, as well as fruit (apples, pears, plums), which grow on the trees and bushes around the house.
Sausages and Bündner meat are available sporadically when a cow is slaughtered. We also produce high-quality veal and beef products, mainly for our own consumption.
Around nine dairy cows and their offspring (cattle and calves) live on our farm. The animals are kept free-range in a spacious area.
Since summer 2022, we have also had a goat and two rabbits at Därflihof.
Some of the animals spend the summer months in the mountains. We are happy if you visit the animals on the alpine pastures in the Montafon.
Those who have stayed at home are of course allowed out on the farm's own green and lush meadows every day. Our guests, both young and old, are personally accompanied to the stables by the farmer.

The newly built, barrier-free, 64m² holiday flat offers you two bedrooms and a fully equipped eat-in kitchen with flat screen TV. There is also a bathroom and a laundry/drying room with washing machine and shoe dryer. Enjoy the marvellous view and the sunset on your spacious terrace or in the garden while barbecuing until the last ray of sunshine.

If you are travelling on the A14 (Rheintalautobahn) towards Tirol or the S16 (Arlberg-Schnellstraße) towards Bregenz, take exit 61(Bludenz-Montafon) at Bludenz. Follow the B188 (Montafonerstraße) to St. Anton im Montafon. Directly above the railway station in St. Anton im Montafon, turn left onto the L94 towards Bartholomäberg. Follow the road for around 5.5 kilometres until you reach the historic baroque church. Turn right immediately after the church and follow the road downhill for approx. 1.5 km until you reach the Därflihof.
