Welcome to Conny’s Natur-Berghütten - Mountain Cabins in Nature

Conny’s mountain cabins are set in the heart of the Mölltal valley, on a mountain pasture at an altitude of 1,300m.

The smell of natural spruce wood and furniture made of Austrian stone pine hangs in the air in the small cabins.

Close your eyes. You feel as if you’re in the middle of a forest.

Open your eyes. You’re in a lovely mountain cabin! It was constructed with a great deal of love for nature - you can feel that. Countless details make you aware of Conny’s passion for the Hohe Tauern region and for agriculture.

Each cabin sleeps 4 people and features:

• A bedroom with a double bed made of Austrian stone pine (ground floor)
• An open-plan bedroom on the gallery with a double bed made of Austrian stone pine (upper floor)
• A bathroom with shower, toilet and an Infrared sauna
• A living room including a modern, open-plan kitchen, a dining area, a sofa, TV and free WiFi (total living area: 60m²)
• A comfortable terrace facing south - seating corner, hanging sofa, barbecue area
• Comfortable loungers for the garden

The terrace, an oasis of well-being, is our guests’ favourite spot on sunny days. They heat the barbecue. Amazed by the dazzling sight of the mountains, quite a few guests have kept lying in the hanging sofa long into the night.

We’ve been running our organic dairy farm on the mountain for 20 years now. It’s located only 200 metres from Conny’s mountain cabins. Farm products we produce on site such as eggs, cow milk and other home-made culinary delights are offered in the mountain cabins.

Our valley has a lot on offer:

The mountain cabins are only 8km from the well-known Mountaineering Village Heiligenblut am Großglockner at the foot of Austria’s highest mountain. In winter, you can spend your day here, in a fantastic ski resort. In summer, you’ll enjoy the Grossglockner High Alpine Road with a variety of special spots on the way such as the newly constructed Ibex House or the glass-panelled lookout tower designed by Swarovski which is located on the Kaiser-Franz-Josefs-Höhe.

Only 3km from here, the village of Großkirchheim boasts a favourably priced ski lift for children and beginners. In summer, Großkirchheim has a leisure park featuring a natural swimming pool and a playground, a horse farm, a shooting arena and much more. There’s also a grocery store (ADEG) in the village centre.

In winter, you can start your ski tour or snowshoe walk directly from the doorstep. You can easily reach the mountains Stanziwurtenkopf (2,780m) or Sandkopf (3,090m) from here.

The minimum length of stay is 3 nights.
