The modern-rustic Chalet Karwendel is located at 840 metres above sea level, directly at the edge of the forest, on the beautiful sunny plateau Umlberg in Terfens. Here you can spend a relaxing holiday with your loved ones, surrounded by mountains, meadows and forests.
The chalet offers plenty of cosy space for 2 to 5 people and is the ideal starting point for exploring and experiencing the Karwendel Silver Region. After a beautiful day in nature, you can relax in your very own private stainless steel hot tub.
Not far from the luxurious chalet you will also find our romantic Wichtelhütte, where up to 4 people can spend a relaxing holiday in a dreamy, fairytale-like spot.
The Plattnerhof is only a 5-minute walk away, where you can enjoy a hearty farmer's breakfast on request, use the wellness area or visit the many animals. Are you ready for an idyllic break?

Animals
A variety of animals live on the Plattnerhof. In addition to the 26 cows and 3 ponies, 2 dwarf goats, 2 rabbits and several cats, chickens and ducks live on the farm. Children can go riding for free with the ponies Nelly and Julie. We also have a llama and two alpacas.
