The chalet “Kaiser-Chalet” is set at an altitude of 960m, far away from the hustle and bustle. The old wooden barn has been carefully remodelled in an elegant way. It’s a place to escape from the busy schedule of everyday life. It’s a place to spend very special hours. It’s a place where you’ll instantly feel at home.
The original building was constructed in 1847 at the foot of the mountain Saualpe. In 2019, the barn has been given a new lease of life. After 1.5 years of renovation works - special emphasis has been put on using natural materials - it now offers 200m² of living area for all those who are looking for a special type of holiday.
We’ve kept the original facade which now creates a symbiosis of traditional architecture and the contemporary interior design using wood and glass. We’ve put a great emphasis on local craftsmanship, high-quality furnishings and a 100% ecologically friendly energy supply. A combination of these elements will make your holiday unforgettable.

The natural swimming pond including a wooden pool is an inviting place to take a dip in summer or cool down after a sauna session in winter.
On the terrace, there’s a small barbecue area for all the barbecue chefs out there.
The carport is covered with photovoltaic panels that produce electricity for electric vehicles.
In a secluded location at an altitude of almost 1,000m, you’re not only floating above the clouds but also above the worries and cares of everyday life. It’s the ideal starting point for hikes, country walks, MTB tours and day trips.

Our freedom-loving cat "Mia" always enjoys being petted. In the summer, our meadows are grazed by our neighbor's cows.

The rooms are located on the first floor. A spacious double room with an en-suite bathroom and a Joka pull-out sofa for an additional 2 people. In addition, this room has a small balcony with seating. On the same level are two further double rooms, which can enjoy the large bathroom with a bathtub. All rooms feature a small desk with a book corner for browsing. A basket with bathrobes and sauna towels is available in the rooms for our guests for the duration of their stay.
