From Hunting Lodge to Alpine Retreat
A truly special place to stay comes with a truly special story:
The Burgerlhütte has a rich and unusual past. Originally built as a hunting lodge, it stood unused for decades in a nearby forest. In 2005, thanks to the initiative of our parents, the hut “went on a journey” and was carefully relocated to its current spot – the former site of the old blacksmith's workshop at the Oberkamperhof.
Since then, it has welcomed guests as a charming alpine retreat full of character, comfort, and history. Old timber, peaceful meadows, close encounters with farm animals, and a wide view of the Pack and Seetaler Alps make every stay unforgettable.
And who knows – maybe a keen hiker or mushroom picker will stumble across the old cellar ruins of the original Burgerlhütte, hidden somewhere between the Spitalalm and Tobiasalm.
