A holiday at Brettmaisserhof is JUST THE CHANGE YOU NEED from daily life. Children will love it here - swimming in the on-site swimming pool, a playground with large SANDPIT and of course lots of ANIMALS to STROKE, such as dwarf rabbits and pygmy goats, our dog "Hexi", the 2 tom cats "Mucki & Moritz", lots of cows and calves, as well as the HAFLINGER MARE "Riga", who also enjoys providing RIDING LESSONS to our younger guests.
The CHILDREN will hardly have time for everything, there's so much to EXPERIENCE, and of course they are welcome to HELP WITH JOBS ON THE FARM such as milking the cows, feeding the calves, hay making and riding on the tractor - so don't forget your wellies!
During all of which the adults can REST and RELAX - and ENJOY their holidays! Go HIKING in our beautiful national park region or simply enjoy LAZY hours under our shady fruit trees or at the panoramic sunbathing area.

About Us
Surrounded by impressive, unspoilt natural surroundings, with unforgettable panoramic views of the wonderful Alpine foothills of Kalkalpen National park. A winter holiday at Brettmaisserhof farm is just the change you need from your daily life. Children enjoy being here - they hardly have any time as there is so much to discover: Many animals to stroke such as pygmy rabbits and pygmy goats, our two dachshunds "Bella and Hexi", tomcat "Mucki", many cows and calves as well as our Haflinger mare "Riga". Adults can rest and relax - and enjoy their holidays. The soft hill slopes will encourage you to go tobogganing. Snowshoeing or a carriage ride through the wonderful and snowy national park region is always a great experience. And then after that, relax with a cup of tea to warm up and a good meal in our cosy farmhouse parlour. The beautiful, cosy and comfortable guest rooms, equipped with shower/WC, sat TV and radio complete the range of facilities on offer. If you enjoy spas, then you must visit the newly opened "Mediterrana" thermal spa in Bad Hall with its Mediterranean holiday atmosphere. Relax in the great Mediterranean atmosphere with thermal baths, Roman baths and iodine steam rooms as well as the unique sauna world. Open daily until midnight, only 25 minutes by car. Or visit the small but exquisite indoor swimming pool with saunas in the neighbouring village of Losenstein, only 10 minutes by car.
Homemade for you: butter, yoghurt, cream cheese, different homemade marmelades ,milk from our cows, eggs from our chicken, self-smoked bacon, beef from our cows and vegetables from our own garden. As well as homemade apple juice and elder juice.
