About Us
The Brandgut alpine lodge is the renovated original farmhouse on the "Brandgut" dating from the 16th century (1538)
With 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, one kitchen and one lounge there is plenty of room for up to 14 people.
The idyllic "Brandgut" organic mountain farm stands alone on a sunny hill, surrounded by alpine meadows, at 1100 metres above sea level
"Lausbaukammerl", "Buamakammer" and "Rumpelkammer" are the names of the three lovingly furnished double bedrooms. The "Menschakammer" and "Schoenkammer" contain, respectively, one double bed and two single beds. Two of the bathrooms have shower and WC. The third bathroom offers a pink bathtube and a washing machine. The third WC is separate. The rooms can be individually heated by means of a central wood-burner. An electrical heating system can be used as required.
Wood, bed linen and hand towels are provided by us.
If you wish, we would be delighted to bring for your breakfast bread and pastries and our own fresh organic eggs.

About Us
The Brandgut mountain farm can be reached by car in winter (depending on the weather, snow is cleared every day).
Almhütte Brandgut is heated by a central heating with pellets.
Heating with wood in the "Kuchlofen" is a special winter experience and is simply part of the hut feeling.
Thanks to the all-single layer of the Brandgut mountain farm, children can play in the snow.
A toboggan ride with friends and / or the whole family is great fun. Wooden toboggans can be borrowed from the farm.
An unforgettable experience is a ski tour from the Brandgut alpine hut to the Hochkeil in the early morning hours. This unique experience is rewarded with a wonderful view from the summit.
The mountain village of Mühlbach am Hochkönig impresses with its impressive mountain panorama of the Mandl walls and the Hochkönig massif.
The perfectly groomed ski slopes and constantly maintained ski lifts make skiing a real treat.
The Hochkönig mountain railways are part of the Salzburg Ski Amadé ski association.
But also cross-country skiing, snow (shoe) hiking, tobogganing, horse-drawn carriage rides and ski touring. offer unforgettable experiences against the fantastic backdrop of the majestic Hochkönig massif.

Thereis plenty of room for up to 14 people in 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, one kitchen and one lounge.
