Easy to reach by means of a well-maintained road, Bio Chalet Sonne serves as an ideal base for a wide variety of all-day tours. Enjoy the glorious countryside out on a leisurely stroll, or perhaps a more adventurous expedition to the top of one of our surrounding peaks. For our mountain bike and cycling fans, we recommend a ride along Lungau’s broad-ranging network of trails and paths. 3 medieval castles in Lungau promise exciting excursions, while even avid anglers find what they are looking for in Weisspriach as well: Virtually right in front of your front door is a fishing area along a pristine mountain stream called the Longa.
Likewise in winter, you are just a few meters away from the cross-country ski trail and the sledding hill. From your window, you can enjoy the marvelous valley view and, even before breakfast, take a longing look up at the FANNINGBERG ski area. The famous ski resorts of OBERTAUERN, GROSSECK-SPEIERECK & AINECK-KATSCHBERG are also located close by.
