Our Bio Schartenhof is situated on a hill above the Salzach Valley with a wonderful view of the valley and the surrounding mountains. We enjoy a very quiet location but are still very close to the Pongau motorway junction and can reach many sights in Salzburger Land!

Our farm has been in the family since 1630 and has been passed down for generations. We have been running an organic farm with sustainable agriculture, species-appropriate animal husbandry and the production of high-quality organic milk since 1995. We live on our farm with our dairy cows, their offspring and many small animals such as chickens, cats and quails. In summer there are many areas around our farm for haymaking, which you can of course help with! Or you can join us on a trip to the mountain pasture to milk the cows! They spend their summer there with the calves! You can enjoy the fresh alpine meadows almost around the clock, the dairy cows only come into the barn at milking time.

The holiday flat has been furnished to a very high standard and is perfect for a family! You have your own terrace and balcony with wonderful views of the surrounding mountains and meadows. Our children love sharing the playground and go-carts with our guests! They are also always happy to help out on the farm's own football pitch.

In summer, we are happy to take you on a herb hike in the surrounding area or you can hire children's bikes and explore the cycle paths in the area.

The Salzburger Sportwelt also offers you many adventure mountains such as the Geisterberg in St. Johann, Floris adventure hiking trail in Flachau or the Grafenberg in Wagrain. In bad weather, we recommend the Amadè adventure spa in Altenmarkt!

In winter we always track our own cross-country ski trail directly from the farm. You can also go snowshoeing, bobsleighing or snowman building. For all skiers, the Salzburger Sportwelt offers an incredible range of ski pistes. A total of 760 kilometres of pistes can be skied from Flachau to Filzmoos!There are also 21 official ski touring routes for ski tourers.

The flat has been furnished to a very high standard. The kitchen and dining area with access to the terrace are located on the ground floor. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, coffee machine and Thermomix.

A spiral staircase leads to the upper floor with 1 bedroom with double bed and bunk bed. In the anteroom there is a sofa bed and access to the bathroom. There is also a washing machine in the bathroom.
