About Us
Welcome to the Boid Mountain Hut!
Experience relaxing days in the Wildschönau-Auffach holiday region. Stay in our Boid hut or in our holiday apartment directly at the farm.
Surrounded by nature, enjoy a breathtaking view of the Tyrolean mountain world. In our cozy hut, you will find peace and relaxation amidst a mountain meadow.
From the hut, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Schatzberg ski and hiking area, and even all the way to Bavaria. It’s an ideal starting point for hiking, ski tours, or simply relaxing.
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed as the hut is located in a meadow used for agricultural fodder production.
The hut is not accessible by car. From the parking lot, it’s a 10-minute walk to the hut.
In the summer months, luggage can be brought to the hut. However, please note that there may be waiting times for luggage transport, as our agricultural transporter is not always available immediately, or there might be no one at the farm to operate the vehicle.

About Us
Welcome to the Boid Mountain Hut!
This rustic self-catering holiday hut for up to 6 people is located in a very quiet hillside position above Auffach, in the Tyrolean high valley of Wildschönau, at an altitude of approximately 1,080 meters. Snow chains in your luggage are advisable.
Inside, the cozy Boid will surprise you with unexpected comforts.
From the hut, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Schatzberg ski and hiking area, and even all the way to Bavaria. It is an ideal starting point for ski tours, winter hiking, or just relaxing. Pets are not allowed.
The hut is not accessible by car. You will need to walk 10 minutes from the parking lot to reach the hut. In winter, no luggage transport is possible, but you can borrow snowshoes from us for free for the walk to the hut.

Farm products and catering
Between March and October, you can purchase our chickens ready for cooking, either whole or cut into pieces. During the rest of the year, you can also buy frozen products.
Our chickens are a wild breed that doesn’t accumulate much fat. Since they also have plenty of time to grow, they are particularly tender and juicy.
You can pick up fresh milk directly from the barn.
For your breakfast bread, you can buy honey from Söll at our place.
In the surrounding area, you can also purchase many other regional products. We are happy to advise you on this.
Animals
Come with us to the barn and learn how to handle cows and calves. Help with the daily barn work and observe how the milk is processed. In spring and summer, you can also admire our Wildschönauer wild chickens and help with feeding them.

Our farm is located slightly above Auffach. The road is well-maintained, but snow chains are still recommended in winter. You can reach the hut from the free parking lot in 10 minutes. Luggage transport is only possible in the summer. There may be waiting times if our agricultural machinery is in use during haying or if no one is available at the farm to operate the vehicles.
