We serve homemade and regional delicacies in the morning:

Mmm, how delicious it smells in the morning. What better way to start the day than with a lovingly prepared breakfast?

We serve homemade yogurt made from our organic hay milk and freshly milked organic hay milk from our cows.

Our homemade jams, among other things, provide sweet treats for the palate.

All the cheese for our breakfast comes from our region. We source goat cheese specialties from the Figerhof cheese dairy in Kals am Großglockner. We source organic cow's milk cheese from the Stemberger organic farm in St. Veit im Defereggental. All the milk used for the cheese is sourced in East Tyrol, where it is produced on beautiful meadows and alpine pastures and refined in our region.

We also source delicious farm butter from the Stemberger organic farm – you can taste the difference. 

For those who like it spicy, our breakfast buffet offers bacon and homemade sausages from our organic farm, as well as various types of sausage from the Stemberger organic farm.

The homemade farmhouse bread is baked by farmer Monika according to an old family recipe. 

Of course, no proper farmhouse breakfast would be complete without eggs. The eggs come from our own chickens. When our chickens get too busy :-) we buy eggs from happy chickens in East Tyrol.
 

At Bergerhof, cows, calves, pigs, cats, our rabbits, and our hens look forward to your visit.

From October to May, our animals are “at home” in the barn. During this time, our calves enjoy being petted by young and old alike.
Grab a pair of rubber boots from us and visit our animals in the barn in the evening during barn time.

During the summer months, our cows are on the alpine pasture in the Dorfertal valley. Once a week in summer, children can enjoy an animal experience on our organic farm. Come along, you'll love it.

The calves stay a little longer in the pasture in the valley. During this time, our calves enjoy your company. In mid-July, we take the calves to the alpine pasture below the Blauspitze. There, the animals spend a romantic alpine summer.
