Come along, we're hitching up the horses—today we're going on a carriage ride! We’ll take you along into our daily life – there is so much to discover: Training young horses Horse logging Grooming horses Smelling fresh hay Harvesting herbs Stable work Unwinding by the campfire - and then, of course, there are our farm cats waiting to be cuddled ❤
Welcome to the mountains!
Are you longing for fresh mountain air, freedom, and genuine nature experiences – perhaps even together with your horse? Then you have come to the right place.
Our small mountain village of Nischlwitz is located at 960 m above sea level, far away from the hustle and bustle, at the entrance to the Lesachtal – the most natural valley in Europe.
Via an 8 km long access road (partially paved), you will reach our home in the midst of the Carnic Alps.
🏡 At the mountain farm Toml, we – Elisabeth, Peter, and Anna – live together with our horses and two cuddly cats.
We enjoy this luxury in today's times. Our personal hideaway, so to speak.

Here you can enjoy what is often missing in everyday life: tranquility, fresh mountain air, pure nature, and time for yourself! Moving in nature and spending time with animals automatically helps you wind down.
On the upper floor of our 200-year-old farmhouse, we rent out a living area with 2 bedrooms, a kitchen, and a private shower/toilet.
Private living rooms are also located on this level.
🐴 Riding holiday with your own horse:
If you bring your own horse, there are guest boxes in the stable and also space on the paddock. Please let us know when booking.

Important for arrival: From Kötschach-Mauthen, you can reach the small hamlet via an 8km long farm road (partially paved).
