By the way: on the Obere Falz alp in the Egg-Schetteregg area, the old farmer's wife Theresia produces delicious Bregenzerwald alp cheese. It's worth watching the butter and cheese being made. Theresia is happy to explain the craft of cheese making to inquisitive visitors and share her many years of experience as an alpine farmer and dairymaid.
Animals
The Schneider farm is home for many different animals. Whether cats, rabbits, chickens, calves, cows or horses - they all feel right at home and are happy about your visit. The two- and four-legged animals especially like to be petted.
They love animals and want to experience directly what it means to be at home on a farm. You are welcome to help out on the farm or simply watch and ask us questions.
In winter we offer horse-drawn sleigh rides in Egg-Schetteregg with our magnificent Noriker horses. An experience in which you can experience and perceive nature intensively and consciously.
At the Schneider farm, most of the animals live directly on the farm, even in summer.
We will gladly tell you and your children more about agriculture and alpine farming, the animals and life on the farm. And not only that. Experience life in the countryside up close.

Arrival
Once in Vorarlberg (A), take the A14 (Rheintalautobahn) and exit at Dornbirn Nord. At the traffic circle take the second exit in the direction of Bregenzerwald (L200). The L200 leads you through the Achrain tunnel into the Bregenzerwald. You drive through the communities of Alberschwende, past Müselbach in the direction of Egg. After the village center of Egg and before the traffic circle and the department store of the forests, turn left onto Klebern. Follow the road uphill for three kilometers. Keep to the left on Rain, past the Tonele Gams inn in the direction of Nützlisheinzen and Ebenwald, where you then turn right on Vögin. After 400 meters you have reached the Schneider farm (Vögin 123) at the end of the road.
