It's all happening here: you are right in the centre of real farm life. Hungry calves want to be watered, cows milked, tame rabbits and the cuddly cat Sissi want to be spoilt. Bleating and chattering animals also run around. Everything is determined by the four seasons. We share our worlds over a cosy barbecue or a glass of wine.
Around our farm you have an unobstructed view of an impressive mountain backdrop. The nearby cycle paths invite you to go on tours. The idyllic outdoor pool is a favourite. Enjoy hikes along clear mountain streams, the lush meadows with wild herbs in the summer sun, the fragrant hay and much more. Our guests can hike, cycle, linger on the farm - simply switch off completely.

Bertsch Farm is located directly on the valley run, the cross-country ski trail and the winter hiking trails. Pure skiing pleasure awaits you in Mellau-Damüls, the largest ski area in the Bregenzerwald. Strap on your skis and off you go!
During the winter months, you can book an informative guided tour of our farm every fortnight via the tourist office. You can find out more directly at the tourist office in the village centre.
The large mounds of snow in front of the house make children's eyes light up. There, young and old alike can slide, build caves, have snowball fights and build snowmen.

Bertsch Farm is a brown cattle breeding farm. The farm is run all year round. In winter the animals are kept directly on the farm, in summer the cattle spend their holidays (summer retreat) on our alpine pasture. Would you like to help with the work on the farm and on the alpine pasture?

Take the Rheintal motorway (A14) and take the Dornbirn Nord exit. At the roundabout, take the second exit in the direction of Bregenzerwald (L200). The L200 takes you through the Achrain Tunnel into the Bregenzerwald. You drive through the communities of Alberschwende, Egg, Andelsbuch and past Bezau and Reuthe to Mellau. Turn right at the third entrance to Mellau (Hotel Engel). Turn left at Sport Natter - straight towards the church. Then turn left again to Gasthaus Nazes Hus. After a sharp bend to the right, continue straight on for about 400 metres. The Bertsch farm is on the right-hand side.
