About Us
The Auszeit-Almhaus is situated in a secluded location at 1,100 meters above sea level in the scenically attractive Lavanttal valley. Its location on the Saualpen panoramic road and directly on the Marienpilgerweg pilgrimage trail offers those seeking relaxation and nature lovers many wonderful opportunities to leave everyday life behind. The self-catering cabin was newly built with great care, using healthy, natural materials (untreated local spruce and larch wood). The entrance area is barrier-free, equipped with a flat ramp, and a large sun terrace as well as a cozy (fully automatic) pellet stove with a view of the flames ensure comfort and coziness in every season.
In the garden, there is a large sunbathing lawn with shaded areas, a herb (stone) garden, and many natural power spots in the immediate vicinity. The cabin offers an excellent starting point for hikes and bike rides of various difficulty levels and is a wonderful platform for nature observation.

The Auszeit Almhaus can be used year-round. A pellet stove with a view of the flames ensures cozy warmth throughout the house. The bathroom also features infrared and underfloor heating.
While the valley disappears beneath a blanket of fog, you can already catch the first rays of sunshine on the terrace at the Auszeit Almhaus.
