Alpine hut experience at 1900 metres above sea level!
The newly renovated Arztaleralm is located in the Arztal near Ellbögen at 1,900 metres above sea level amidst the wonderful mountain scenery of the Tux Alps.
The hike from the valley takes about one and a half hours.
Access: To Ellbögen fire station, then follow the signs to the Arztaler Alm to the large car park.
Once at the top, we, the hut keepers, will welcome you with Tyrolean home cooking from dumplings to bacon and spaetzle. We will be happy to help you find the right thing for you after a hike!
The hike to the Arztaler Alm is also a special experience for children. There are ponies, cows and black-nosed sheep to watch and marvel at up close on the mountain pasture. The alp also participates in the programme of the generational breeds of cattle, calves, pigs, horses, goats and sheep.
The rental period at the Alm is from June to October. The Alm is not open in winter. It is also possible to organise parties or celebrations here. But please always book in advance.
