About Us
Our Artlieb Hut is located in a quiet and sunny secluded spot, a little outside of Bischofshofen, at an altitude of approximately 1,000 meters. Our farm is about 500m away from the hut. We run our organic farm as a sideline and look forward to visits to the farm. You are welcome to help pet and feed the animals.
We have renovated the over 420-year-old hut while preserving its rustic character. For example, there is still a "Heizlücke" (heating gap) in the bedroom floor above the kitchen to warm the bedroom. We have completely renovated the bathroom and prioritized guest comfort.
The hut comfortably accommodates up to 6 people and is equipped with 4 bedrooms. The view of the mountains and around the hut is unique. The best way to enjoy the view is from our seating area in the garden or in front of the hut. In the garden, you'll find your private barrel sauna for relaxation and a hot tub for unwinding.
The hut is easily accessible by car in both summer and winter. Dogs are very welcome.
In summer, you can start hiking directly from the hut. Hiking trails pass by, or you can explore the area by mountain bike.
In winter, the nearest ski resorts are just under 25 minutes away from our hut.

As a welcome gift, each guest receives a basket with fresh eggs, homemade bread, and jam.
In winter, our cows, calves, chickens, rabbits, sheep, and goats stay in the barn. In summer, all our animals are out on the pasture.
Feel free to combine your alpine hut vacation with a visit to our farm, which is just 500 meters away. We look forward to seeing you!

The over 420-year-old hut was newly renovated in 2020.
It offers:
- A cozy living room with a Swedish stove and a fully equipped kitchen with a wood and electric stove and a dishwasher
- A living and dining area with a corner bench, couch, TV, and free Wi-Fi
- 1 bathroom with a toilet and underfloor heating
- A total of 4 bedrooms (2 large double rooms and 2 smaller rooms with 140x200 cm beds)
- Electric and wood heating
- A spacious garden with a terrace, garden furniture, and a barbecue
- A private barrel sauna with a breathtaking mountain view
- Parking spaces directly in front of the hut
Bed linen, dish towels, and firewood are included in your stay.
Electricity is charged at €0.40 per kWh based on consumption.
We charge a one-time fee of €60 for using our HotPot!
