Endless hiking possibilities lead directly from our front door along the popular Käsewanderweg hiking trail to the Pfänder mountain with falconry displays and an Alpine Nature Park. Natural spectacles such as the forest trail, as well as many other well marked trails, make hiking great fun for children.
Ideal recreation area for families away from the road - a playground with play house, play and sports equipment, giant trampoline, children's vehicles, table tennis, play area with table football and much more. Comfortable apartments appointed entirely with wooden furniture and, of course, our dedicated service will add a sense of well-being to your holiday. Our advantageous family prices are ideal for a holiday with Grandma and Grandpa or with friends.
In one of the most attractive holiday destinations, at the border triangle between Austria, Germany and Switzerland, our central location provides all that is needed for those seeking relaxation. Forests, meadows and mountains covered in deep snow guarantee unforgettable holiday impressions.
We offer holidays for everyone: Go hiking on trails that are cleared of snow, or use snowshoes to enjoy nature in all its glory. A spa including indoor pool, sauna and massage, cross-country ski run and a natural toboggan run directly outside the house, which with good snow conditions can take you as far as the valley below. Horse sleigh rides, ice skating and sports activities of all kinds in the Vorarlberg ski regions. Skiing for beginners 10 minutes away - for experienced skiers approx. 40 minutes away (with skiing lessons and ski hire).
Or simply enjoy the peace and quiet, admire the fascinating landscape and nature, with wonderful sunrises and sunsets, or just listen to the murmuring nearby stream - this is what we call relaxation.
We offer the perfect recreational space for families with children. Away from traffic, they can run around undisturbed, build a snowman or a snow castle, or have fun tobogganing right outside the house. If the weather is bad, there is a children's play area where they can let their imaginations run free.
We also offer farm experiences involving all of our animals. Here you can experience farm life up closely. Maybe you will even witness one of our animals being born!?

The Mühlenhof is a small, family-run farm, mainly with dairy cattle, and a variety of different small animals:
The petting animals are an experience for all ages.

- The dwarf rabbits " Trixi" and "Snupy" are waiting to be cuddled
- See the piglet - the cats "Mogli", "Timo" and "Minka" are waiting for love and attention.

Car: Coming from Germany:
Motorway via Lindau to Austria. Motorway (Note: motorway badge required) exit Lochau / Hörbranz (before the Pfänder tunnel) exit on the left after 400 m in the direction of Lochau - turn left at the ÖMV petrol station onto Eichenberger Strasse. For further directions, see "from Lochau".
Coming from Switzerland or Vienna:
After the Pfänder tunnel - take the exit for Lochau/Hörbranz - then left after 400 m in the direction of Lochau - at the ÖMV petrol station take a left onto Eichenberger Strasse.
From Lochau:
You drive from Lochau up the mountain to Eichenberg - through the village of Eichenberg - after about 3 km you reach the small village of Lutzenreute (away from Pfänder) - in the centre of the village turn right at the dairy towards Mühle (follow the yellow signs on the right hand side of the road) - proceed until you see the sign for "Wanderzone" and take a sharp right turn into the little wood on the right - here a warm welcome awaits you at the Mühlenhof Farm with its stunning views of Lake Constance.
By train: from Bregenz train station - by bus or taxi
