Here, surrounded by fragrant meadows, tranquil forests, and majestic peaks, you will experience an authentic country life that touches body and soul. Breathe in the clear mountain air and let yourself be enchanted by the sweet scent of the hay harvest, as you find soothing peace and security.

Become a part of our daily farm life: Enthusiastically help feed our animals, pet our tame cats, fluffy rabbits, and curious calves. A special highlight is the daily milking of our cows, which you can experience up close from 5:00 PM – an unforgettable insight into farm life. Visit our charming chicken hotel and collect fresh, daily eggs directly from the nests. My father, a passionate beekeeper, also provides our delicious, healthy bee honey, which we are happy to offer you. Start your day completely relaxed with our popular bread roll service or discover a delightful selection of our homemade farm products in your welcome basket, such as freshly harvested milk, creamy yogurt, daily fresh eggs, and our golden bee honey – pure taste directly from Angerlgut.

About Us

The Angerlgut is located in the beautiful Salzburger Land, in the Tennengau region, above St. Koloman at an altitude of 1,000 m. Surrounded by forests, meadows, and the imposing peaks of the Salzburg mountains, you will find a peaceful retreat with a fantastic view of the mountain world.

The holiday home is about 200 m from the farm and offers 2 cozy apartments, each for up to 4 people. The apartments are furnished in an alpine style and feature spacious terraces – ideal for relaxing and soaking up the sun, even in winter.

For children, the nearby farm with its fields, forest, and meadows is a real adventure playground. Here you can still be a child: romp in the hay, feed animals, pet rabbits, calves, and cats – nature experiences up close!

In summer, many hiking trails start directly from the farm. Whether it's a leisurely alpine hike, a challenging mountain tour, or a bike tour – you'll find ideal conditions for active days here. Swimming pools, lakes, and family-friendly excursion destinations are also easily accessible.

In winter, Salzburger Land offers a variety of possibilities: snowshoeing, cross-country skiing on the nearby Göll panorama trail (only a 5-minute walk away), tobogganing directly in front of the house, or simply romping in the snow. We have 2 pairs of snowshoes including poles available for our guests to rent in winter.

The ski resorts in the region are also not far: Flachau, Werfenweng, Dachstein-West, Mühlbach – Hochkönig, Abtenau, or the Zinkenlifte can be reached by car in about 30 minutes. After an active day in nature, you can make yourself comfortable in your holiday apartment and enjoy the view.

A special highlight: The festival city of Salzburg is only a 30-minute drive away – perfect for an excursion to this cultural city with historical flair.

A special highlight is our golden honey, lovingly produced by our diligent bees in our own apiary – a sweet greeting from our industrious residents. A thoughtfully curated basket, overflowing with a delightful array of our homemade farm products, awaits you in each apartment, inviting you to discover and savor the variety and quality of our offerings from the moment you arrive.

Effortlessly begin your mornings with our popular bread delivery service, bringing fragrant, oven-fresh baked goods directly to your apartment door.

For further culinary adventures, we highly recommend a delicious breakfast at the charming Café Leichtsinn in the neighboring community of Bad Vigaun. Or perhaps you'd prefer a hearty alpine snack, known as an 'Almjause,' at one of the quaint huts nestled in the picturesque surroundings of St. Koloman? We particularly suggest the Enzianhütte, Christlalm, Wimmeralm, and Moosangerlalm in the Trattberg hiking area, or the Auerhütte by the idyllically situated Seewaldsee. This way, you can immerse yourself fully in the warm regional hospitality.

Animals

Daily from 5:00 PM, our cozy stable doors open for you: Visit our gentle cows, watch them being milked, and experience daily farm life up close!

Our cats and cuddly rabbits always look forward to being petted and invite little animal lovers to get acquainted with them.

In our lovingly designed chicken hotel, fifteen happy hens reside, providing you with fresh eggs daily.

My father, a passionate beekeeper, looks after thousands of busy bees who produce our delicious, healthy honey every year. We proudly offer this unique, homemade honey for sale to our guests – a sweet greeting directly from Angerlgut!

Holiday apartment Alpenblick

Our holiday apartment Alpenblick is located on the upper floor of the Angerlgut holiday home – right in the heart of Salzburger Land, in the Tennengau region near St. Koloman. The apartment offers cozy comfort in an Alpine style and a fantastic view of the surrounding mountains.

Spanning approximately 50 m², you'll find ample space to relax, enjoy, and spend time together. The apartment is ideal for couples, families, or small groups of up to 5 people. You'll sleep in a king-size bed, a bunk bed, and a practical wall bed – perfect for restful nights.

The fully equipped kitchen leaves nothing to be desired: a 4-plate stove, oven, refrigerator with freezer compartment, dishwasher, kettle, coffee machine, dishes, cutlery, and cooking utensils – everything you need to cook together.

A flat-screen SAT TV provides entertainment, and Wi-Fi is available free of charge. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, toilet, and hairdryer. Bed linen and towels are included. The apartment is a non-smoking accommodation.
