About Us
Our farm is located in the charming village of Deutsch Haslau, nestled in the wide and gentle landscape of the historic Carnuntum region. The area is pleasantly flat, making it ideal for cyclists, walkers and nature lovers who appreciate peace, open spaces and fresh air. Here you can relax and unwind, surrounded by nature, while still enjoying excellent accessibility.
Despite the rural setting, our farm is not remote. The A6 motorway can be reached within just five minutes by car, allowing you to arrive in Bratislava or Hungary in approximately 20 minutes. Austria’s capital city Vienna is easily accessible via the A4 motorway and can be reached in around 30 minutes – perfect for day trips, cultural excursions or shopping.
The region offers a wide variety of cultural and historical highlights. Impressive exhibitions and sights can be found in Bad Deutsch-Altenburg, Hainburg an der Donau and Petronell. A truly unique attraction is the Roman city of Carnuntum, famous worldwide for its archaeological excavations. Here, an ancient Roman bath and a marketplace have been faithfully reconstructed, bringing history vividly to life.
We also warmly recommend the Carnuntum wine-growing region. Its diversity and quality delight not only wine connoisseurs. Traditional wine taverns, known as “Heurigen,” invite you to enjoy excellent regional wines and hearty local cuisine in a cozy atmosphere.
For relaxation close to nature, the nearby Lake Neusiedl is well worth a visit, offering a wonderful combination of water, reed landscapes and natural beauty. On rainy days, the Parndorf Outlet Center, located just 10 km away, provides a popular alternative for shopping and leisure.

About Us
Our farm is located in the peaceful village of Deutsch Haslau, surrounded by the wide and tranquil winter landscape of the historic Carnuntum region. When fields and meadows rest under the clear winter sky and the air becomes crisp and fresh, the area reveals its calm and atmospheric character. The flat terrain invites guests to enjoy long winter walks, gentle cycling on mild days, or simply moments of quiet relaxation in nature.
Despite the rural setting, our location is easily accessible. The A6 motorway is just five minutes away, providing quick connections to Bratislava or Hungary in approximately 20 minutes. Vienna can be reached via the A4 motorway in around 30 minutes, making it ideal for winter city trips, museum visits or Christmas markets.
During the colder season, nearby towns such as Bad Deutsch-Altenburg, Hainburg an der Donau and Petronell offer inspiring cultural experiences. A true highlight is the world-renowned Roman city of Carnuntum, where reconstructed Roman baths and an ancient marketplace allow visitors to experience history in a calm and authentic winter atmosphere.
The Carnuntum wine region also has a special charm in winter. Cozy traditional wine taverns invite guests to enjoy excellent regional wines, warming seasonal dishes and genuine hospitality. For peaceful moments in nature, Lake Neusiedl is well worth a visit, enchanting visitors with its unique winter light. On less favorable weather days, the Parndorf Outlet Center, just 10 km away, offers relaxed shopping opportunities.
Farm products and catering
In August 1994, the idea was born to sell beef directly from our farm. The move was prompted by the looming price decline following Austria’s EU accession, which threatened the value of beef.
Today, we hold our farm-direct sales eight times a year, always over a weekend. All meat is sold by pre-order (please place orders at least eight days in advance).
Our beef is available entirely for retail sale, and we also offer various package options that are especially popular with our customers.
In addition to fresh meat, we offer a wide range of ten specialty sausages: house and garlic sausage, Landjäger, salami, chili wurzen, pepperoni sausages, pepper sticks, Pusta sausages, as well as beef bratwurst and grill sausage. Our selection is rounded out by Leberkäse in three different varieties.
A particular highlight is our Carnuntum Beef Ham. This raw ham is aged for three weeks, giving it a uniquely refined and aromatic flavor.
Beyond meat and sausages, our farm shop also offers regional wines, liqueurs, spirits, as well as apple and grape juices – perfect for enjoying a taste of the region at home.
