About Us
Please note that Althagerhof is not available for rent during the winter. As an alternative, you can book a cozy holiday apartment at Hagerhof and enjoy the snow-covered winter landscape of the Kaiserwinkl region.
Farm products and catering
We offer fresh organic hay milk, organic eggs, and homemade jams. You’ll also find schnapps and honey from nearby organic farms in the region.
Our cows spend the summer from June to September on the alpine pasture, where they have plenty of space to roam and enjoy fresh grasses and alpine herbs – and you can truly taste that in our delicious hay milk! Guests are welcome to sample the unique flavor and high quality of our organic hay milk – we’re proud to be an organic hay milk farm in the Kaiserwinkl region!
Step into Maria's Herb Garden! The herbs grow in our garden and are labeled with wooden cooking spoons. Be surprised and enjoy the wonderful taste and aroma of our homegrown organic herbs in your meals.
Animals
Many animals live on our farm, which is especially exciting for families with children. Watching the farmer or farmer’s wife during their work in the barn or on the field is a special experience as well.
Children especially love our petting zoo, where the cat “Poldi” rules the roost along with his feline friends “Mausi” and “Seppi.” Our dwarf rabbits – Heidi, Meister Propper, and Monty – and our two curious dwarf goats are always eager for cuddles and attention.
Our cattle spend the summer months, from June to September, enjoying the alpine pastures on our own Hageralm. A hike up there is a wonderful adventure for kids and adults alike.
And don’t miss our 20 hens and their proud rooster Julius! Helping the farmer’s wife collect freshly laid eggs from our happy chickens is an experience to remember.

Our holiday home “Althagerhof” is wheelchair accessible and offers 191 m² of space for up to 10 people. It features a spacious kitchen, a large living room with a TV, 4 bedrooms with double beds, wardrobes, tables, 2 armchairs, and a washbasin (2 bedrooms also have a TV). There is also a children’s room with 2 single beds, a wardrobe, and a washbasin, a large bathroom with a walk-in shower and sauna, a large washbasin, 2 hairdryers, 2 towel dryers, and a toilet, as well as a separate toilet.
In addition, there is a storage room and a paved terrace with garden furniture, as well as a large green area in front and beside the house – perfect for undisturbed sunbathing and relaxation. No through traffic, with views of the picturesque Walchsee and the Kaiser Mountains. Internet fiber optic cable: Excellent Wi-Fi throughout the house (also perfect for video conferences!).
The kitchen, living room, one bedroom, storage room, terrace, bathroom, and separate toilet are all on the ground floor. Pets are not allowed in the Althagerhof holiday home.

Arrival by car (toll-free from Germany): From Munich or Salzburg take the A8 to the Inntal junction, then continue on the A93 towards Kufstein. Exit the motorway at Oberaudorf and follow the B172 through Niederndorf towards Walchsee. In the Durchholzen district, after the parking lot of the “Zahmer Kaiser” cable car, turn right at the sharp 90-degree bend and follow the Hochberg road. After approx. 900 meters, you will reach your destination.
