About Us
The Almjuwel combines the comfort of a luxury apartment with a relaxed location in the Salzburg mountains and the in-house, agriculturally used Strussingalm. Situated at an altitude of 1,560 meters, directly above the valley station of the Strussing-Bischling four-seater chairlift, and thus directly on the ski slope.
Upon arrival, you're immediately embraced by the scent of wood. The alpine hut is furnished in a modern Alpine style and offers two separate bedrooms, accommodating 2 to 6 people. A radio and free Wi-Fi are available in the hut. A large, separate balcony provides a picture-perfect view over the mountain village of Werfenweng.
The private Finnish sauna invites you to relax after a long day of skiing or hiking.
In summer, you can choose between easy hikes along the ridge to various alpine huts in the vicinity or more challenging mountain tours. We offer our guests free e-bikes, allowing for an easy ride into the valley to stroll through the village of Werfenweng. A kettle grill is available in the hut for pleasant summer evenings.
In winter, the Werfenweng ski area is right at your doorstep. The slopes are particularly popular with families. Experience the tranquility and power of nature intensely, with direct access to the 29 kilometers of slopes in the family-friendly Werfenweng ski area. In winter, it's essential to take the last lift to the hut at 4:00 PM!
You can reach the alpine hut in summer directly by car via a 5 km long forest road. In winter, the hut is only accessible via the chairlift – we transport your luggage for you. We also accompany you to the alp in summer.

Upon entering the modern Alpine-style rooms, the scent of wood immediately surrounds you. The accommodation features two separate bedrooms, suitable for 2 to 6 people. Additionally, there is a spacious hallway, a large bathroom, a separate toilet, and a generous living kitchen, which is fully equipped with:
