About Us
The Almhütte Badstube
.... is a cozy and particularly lovingly furnished round-log cabin with a HOT POT & sauna hut.
Here you will find a kitchen with a dining area, a sofa bed, a bathroom with a shower, a toilet, and upstairs 3 small rooms for up to 6 pleasure-seekers. There is running water; the stove, bath heater, and HOT POT are heated with wood. You will find wood right behind in the wood shed ... of course, you are also welcome to chop kindling yourself or collect firewood for the campfire. Next door is the HOT POT and the small sauna hut ...and in front of it, a unique tree shower for cooling off.
Naturally, there is no Wi-Fi at the alpine cabin!
There is also no electricity here.
Power banks are available for charging mobile phones.
A cool earth cellar is hidden behind the wood shed, offering plenty of space for your provisions. Sealable containers placed in the water trough for cooling are also very suitable. The alpine cabins (our Leebhütte is a 15-minute walk away) are located at approx. 1750 - 1800 m above sea level, nestled in the gently shaped Nockberge mountains at the foot of the Kaiserburg. If you cross the ridge during one of your hikes, you will find the managed Walderhütte, and a bit further, the Geigerhütte ... also, just behind the mountain lies the famous World Cup resort of Bad Kleinkirchheim. So you could also take the lift down from the Kaiserburg mountain station to the valley and bathe in the thermal spas.
Access: 10 km from Patergassen, the service road leads right up to the cabin.
Animals
In summer, from the beginning of June to the end of September, my cattle family is on summer holiday on the alpine pasture!
Wonderful, this freedom....first eating fresh alpine herbs, then resting....enjoying the view....sipping fresh spring water...sunbathing and then back under the rain shower...a hail massage and running and jumping :-) .....if you are very quiet, you can hear them singing, they feel so comfortable up here, so close to heaven.

The cabin is located at 1,700 m above sea level, nestled in the gently rolling Nockberge mountains at the foot of the Kaiserburg. Access: 10 km from Patergassen via a private farm track. A car with higher ground clearance is an advantage.

Arrival
Access: 10 km from Patergassen, the access road leads right up to the cabin.
A very low-slung car with a long wheelbase is not suitable.
