Our rustic and cozy solid wood chalet is located in the village of Innerkrems at 1480 m above sea level, between two national parks, and offers absolute peace and relaxation thanks to its secluded yet central location. The living area is 100 m², plus a 10 m² cellar and a 4 m² Finnish sauna. Newly renovated, it awaits families, couples, or friends.

We rent out our chalet all year round. It is ideal for an independent self-catering holiday, offers complete tranquility, space for a maximum of 6 people, features 3 bedrooms with 2 beds each, and is equipped to a high standard. It is located in the Katschberg & Lieser-Maltatal region and is surrounded by the two national parks, Hohe Tauern and Nockberge. The Millstätter See region is a 20-minute drive away, the Katschberg ski area is about 30 minutes away, and Lake Millstatt is about 40 minutes away.

This gives you a choice between fantastic opportunities for hiking, mountain biking tours, countless outdoor activities, swimming days at the lake, or a relaxed excursion to the medieval town of Gmünd. After a mountain bike tour or hike, dirty clothes can be popped into your own washing machine while you relax your muscles in the private sauna.

Dinner is enjoyed at sunset on the south-facing balcony, accompanied by a concert of crickets, followed by a glass of wine under the clear starry sky. Deeply snow-covered winter days are spent at Katschberg, a snow-sure family ski destination, with snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, or cuddling up in front of the cozy tiled stove. The Innerkrems region offers a children's ski lift located just 100 meters behind a small forest from our alpine house, and a summer high ropes course which is also within walking distance.

The Nockberge region offers 200 km of hiking trails of all difficulty levels. In winter, Katschberg is one of the most snow-sure and beautiful ski resorts. The Malta Valley is famous for its waterfalls and climbing opportunities. For younger guests, there are numerous interesting themed hiking trails and adventure parks. For those interested in culture, a visit to the medieval town of Gmünd with its numerous galleries and exhibitions is highly recommended, which can then be discussed over a wonderful coffee and pastry.
