Come up to wind down – Alpine holiday on the Apriacher Almen
On the Apriacher Almen, high above the Möll Valley, surrounded by sparse larch forests and Austria's highest peaks, stand our two alpine huts: the Lässler Hütte and the Lärchwiesen Hütte.
Whether nostalgic-rustic or modern-comfortable: both huts have been furnished with great love and now offer our guests a relaxing space for up to 6 people each. Both huts are fenced, and in the garden area you will find cozy seating and a barbecue spot.
Hikes of all difficulty levels are possible from here. From the leisurely and beautiful Apriach circular hiking trail to alpine high-altitude tours on the Großglockner, the Hohe Sonnblick, the Hocharn, or to the local mountain and highest point of the Apriacher Alm, the Sandkopf at 3,090 meters: there is something here for every hiking enthusiast.
Good to Know: The Heiligenblut mountain and ski resort is approx. 11 minutes away from Apriach. Several inns offer traditional Carinthian dishes. A few farm shops and retailers offer their goods.
With us, you can enjoy simple internet access with up to 4G reception – however, the connection may vary depending on the weather.
Cattle graze on the alpine pastures and in the light larch forest. Marmots and chamois are native to the Hohe Tauern National Park.

Lärchwiesen Hütte – A place of power with views of the Grossglockner
Where the dreamlike larch forest becomes sparse, lies the Lärchwiesen Hütte, at 1,750 meters above sea level. The mighty Grossglockner (3,798 m) watches over this lovingly built cabin and accompanies every moment of your alpine holiday.
Built in 2015 and furnished with the utmost care, the Lärchwiesen Hütte is a modern oasis of deceleration for up to 6 people.
The highlight of this cabin is undoubtedly the panoramic window in the spacious living and dining area, which offers an indescribable view of the Grossglockner. The entire cabin is furnished to a high standard. Modern technology, such as pellet heating controlled remotely, is a pleasant surprise at this high altitude.

Within sight are a few other alpine cabins, whose access road passes below the Lärchwiesenhütte. However, traffic is very limited. 😉 The surrounding alpine pastures are grazed by cattle.
Important: We ask for your understanding that pets are not allowed in this cabin. The cabin is non-smoking.
Rental period: May to October. Christmas and New Year's Eve on request.
Directions: the Lärchwiesenhütte can be reached from Apriach in about a 15-minute drive via a well-maintained gravel road.

Lässler Hütte – rustic, wild-romantic & wonderfully nostalgic
The Lässler Hütte is situated in a wildly romantic, secluded location on the Apriach Alm – surrounded by larches, mountain meadows and the impressive view of the Great Friedrichskopf (3,134 meters).
At 1,450 meters above sea level, this cabin was lovingly renovated by our family in a cozy, rustic style. It now offers space for ideally 4 people.
The furnishings and decoration speak the language of the past and convey a traditional feeling of alpine life as it used to be. At the same time, the cabin offers enough comfort to make you feel right at home.
