About Us
The chalet for 2-12 people is located at an altitude 1,370 m on the Klippitztörl, only 2.5 km from the ski resort and hiking paradise. It features a spectacular mountain view. Our restaurant “Gasthof Hotel Buchbauer” is located right next to the chalet. The chalet “Klippitzchalet” is set in a very quiet location on a small hill. It’s accessible by car, also in winter. There are no neighbours in the immediate vicinity. In winter, the Klippitztörl boasts two chair lifts, two T-bar lifts, a ski centre for children, a ski school, skis for rent, free guided snowshoeing tours and mountain cabins serving local cuisine.
In summer, nature starts at the doorstep. It invites you to follow one of the many hiking trails in the area Klippitztörl - Saualpe - Zirbitzkogel. A summer toboggan run, one outdoor climbing spot nearby and more in the surroundings, diverse attractions, sights and lakes guarantee a fun-filled time. There’s also a holiday programme for kids on the mountain.
Your car is parked under the carport, well protected. You may book breakfast, half-board or buy essential food products at our nearby farm “Gasthof Buchbauer”. Reservations for shorter durations may be available on request.
