Enjoy, relax... experience nature. On the sunny side, above the village of Radenthein, in the Lake Millstätter See region, lies the mountain farming village of Kaning. At 1,160 meters above sea level is the Adamhaus, which towers like an eagle's nest over the Gegendtal valley. The furnishings are luxurious, and the unique location allows for a panoramic view of a special kind. With great attention to detail, the 400-year-old house has been renovated and now offers 180 m² of space for a maximum of 7 people.
Surrounded by the Nockberge mountains and the Carinthian lakes, the Adamhaus is centrally located for numerous Carinthian excursion destinations.
We - your host family, the Stinigs - spend the summer together with the grazing cattle on the Veidlhütte, which is approx. 1.5 hours (easy hike) away from the Adamhaus. Here we herd the cattle and make our own dairy products and cheese. At the Veidlhütte, there is also a hearty snack for our visitors. Our guests have the opportunity to drive by car to us on the alpine pasture, into the Langalmtal valley (10 mins). We provide the toll card for this free of charge.
Excursion destinations in the surrounding area: ski and spa resort of Bad Kleinkirchheim, Langalmtal hiking paradise, Granatium, Lake Afritz and Lake Millstätter See, Nockalm Road, wildlife park, and much more.

Cozy warmth at the Adamhaus
After a day of skiing in Bad Kleinkirchheim, a sledding run in the Langalmtal, or ice skating on the nearest lake, you can look forward to relaxing in the in-house sauna.
Our wood-burning stove and infrared heating ensure cozy, comforting warmth and snuggly evenings with your loved ones.

At our alpine pasture, we mainly serve home-made products such as traditional savory platters, roast pork, various home-style delicacies, as well as freshly caught fish. In our vicinity, you will find guesthouses, shops, and much more.
In summer, although all our animals are up on the alpine pasture, you are welcome to drive up to the pasture by car if you wish. We provide the toll card free of charge.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
Just like in the Brothers Grimm fairy tale, the Adamhaus features seven little beds, seven little plates, seven little spoons, and much more. Four tastefully furnished bedrooms offer space for seven people. Two toilets and a spacious bathroom with underfloor heating - the perfect way to truly enjoy your holiday.
A spacious eat-in kitchen with a corner bench and a living room with a roomy couch for cosy evenings offer plenty of space to feel right at home.
Two large balconies with tables and benches, as well as seven sun loungers and a barbecue station invite you to spend relaxing holiday moments all around the house.
You can enjoy the cooler autumn days and evenings in the building's own sauna.

Access via the Tauern Motorway or South Motorway, through the Gegendtal valley to Radenthein. A mountain road leads to Kaning. The access road is paved right up to the front door.
