About us
Arrive - unwind - feel great!
Start your day with an extensive breakfast. Enjoy many home-made specialities, from smoked ham, fruit jams, farmhouse bread, honey from the region, various unfiltered fruit juices and daily fresh milk. Many products also received medals again at the Ab-Hof farmers' trade fair in Wieselburg this year. Not only can you savour our products here, you can also take them home as a souvenir.
Well refreshed, let's go: Whether it's bicycling along the Danube, hiking, going on a boat trip, visiting fortresses, castles and abbeys, or simply staying on the farm to get to know our many animals or to just laze about - there's certainly something for everyone.
Our farm is located in the Danube region of Lower Austria, approx. 15 km north of the town of Melk, on a plateau above the Danube valley, and is thus an ideal starting point for excursions to the Wachau valley, the Waldviertel forest quarter, and also Vienna, only an hour's drive away.
Our small village is also ideal for families; children have space to play, can help with feeding the animals, ride ponies and much more. Then you can finish the day by enjoying home-made delicacies in the traditional wine tavern parlour.

We are a typical Lower Austrian farm. You can expect chickens, pigs, mother cows, rabbits, guinea pigs, miniature pigs, our 2 Haflinger horses (rides possible for or experienced riders), and the favourite among the children, our spotted pony Sandy. You are welcome to help with feeding in the evenings, or in the mornings (for early risers, starting at 6:30 am).
