About Us
The Fernerhütte is situated at an altitude of 1,600 m above sea level on the edge of a forest with magnificent views of the mountains along the border with Slovenia. The ground floor is appointed with a kitchen/living room with wood-burning stove, 2 electric hobs, tiled stove, fridge, coffee percolator, utensils and cutlery. 1 bedroom with bunk bed and a sunny double room with an extra children's bed. There is also a shower/WC (hot water boiler) on the ground floor. The top floor is appointed with a 5-bed room and WC. Basic, rustic furnishings. The outdoor area has a well, a sunny terrace, a barbecue area and a children's playground. The cabin is open all year, pets are welcome. Accessible by car. Great starting point for hikes on the Zirbitzkogel or for going mushroom picking.

The Ferner cabin is situated in a beautiful location on the edge of a forest with distant views of the mountains along the border with Slovenia. Directly below the Tonnerhütten lift; the ski lift is reachable in a 5-minute walk. An 800 m drag lift with 3 different descents of up to 1.2 km in length. A baby lift with practice slope. Equipment hire. Ski and snowboard courses. Well-prepared and snow-sure pistes (snow cannon). The Zirbitzkogel is an avalanche-safe and popular tour region. The ground floor is appointed with a kitchen/living room with wood-burning stove, 2 electric hobs, fridge, coffee percolator, utensils and cutlery, tiled stove. A bedroom with bunk beds and a beautiful double room, as well as shower/WC (hot water boiler). The top floor has 1 bedroom with 5 beds and 1 WC. Basic, rustic furnishings, cosy alpine cabin atmosphere.Please bring your own bed linen and towels. The outdoor area has a fountain, a sunny terrace, a barbecue area and a children's playground. The cabin is open all year, pets are welcome. Accessible by car. Our tip: located directly at the ski lift, snow-sure. Prices: Alpine cabin from EUR 65 to EUR 80 per day (depending on season and number of persons) excluding bed linen, electricity and heating, local tax, EUR 45 for final cleaning. For pets EUR 10 final cleaning surcharge. Austrian hotel contract requirements serve as our legal basis.
