About us
Everything is prepared - for a special time out in the LECHREFUGIUM - far from the city, but close to heaven! Traditionally, the newly built, natural wooden house LECHREFUGIUM floats on two columns at the foot of the Arlberg exactly at the place where for centuries the fresh mountain hay for our farm was stored. The old timber frame of the hay barn tells of a time of peace and security and radiates homely warmth for an unforgettable stay.
We are deeply rooted in the nature park Tiroler Lech. You can smell the fresh scent of the herbs from the in-house medicinal plant school and taste the traditional herbal medicine in our LECHMED root distillery.

Our solid wood beds in the bedrooms are made 100% from the beams of the old haystack. An exclusive old wooden bed has a particularly sleep-promoting, calming, anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving effect on the musculoskeletal system and ensures sufficient and soothing sleep during your stay.

Root distillery
Already more than 500 years ago schnapps was distilled on our farm. The harsh climate in the mountains allows only some types of fruit to ripen, but a multitude of wild berries and root plants grow, which have adapted to this habitat over millions of years. Connoisseurs appreciate the pure distillates from the "Lechmed root distillery" and love their typical and unique taste.
Medicinal plant garden
Our medicinal herb garden is a small place of nature, which our ancestors farmed biologically throughout their lives. We also let the visitor participate in a piece of earth, the scent and colours of mysterious plants.
