About us

The Lercher family welcomes you and promises plenty of peace and recuperation among the most beautiful of Carinthia's mountain landscapes at the foot of the Grossglockner.

The Lacklhof farm is the ideal starting point for easy hikes as well as ambitious mountain tours, with several three-thousand-metre peaks in the immediate area.

Would you like to feed a marmot, see ibex up close or have an alpine salamander crawl across your hand? Or would you prefer to help us take care of our farm animals? Our calves, chickens and little lambs love to be fed and patted.

Summer offers the option of hiking or a visit to the newly-constructed leisure centre with open-air swimming pool in Grosskirchheim. However, you will never get bored with us, helping out with work on the farm and caring for the animals. Immerse yourself in the daily life of a farmer! If you are lucky, you may get to witness the birth of a calf or lamb and discover the happy life our animals lead with us in the mountains.

Luxurious fittings

Tradition meets modern comfort in the Lacklhof apartment! You will find a cosy, rustic and lovingly furnished holiday apartment measuring 120m². The apartment features a pleasantly aromatic stone pine room, Finnish sauna and fully-equipped kitchen/living area! There is plenty of room for up to seven guests with two double rooms and one triple room.

As for the children, pull on your rubber boots and get out onto the farm - this is your holiday in nature with friends. What an adventure!

About us

Our farm is located near 55 km of fun slopes in one of the most beautifully situated ski regions, with views of the Grossglockner, but you can also enjoy many other winter activities. Ski tour enthusiasts will find numerous options available, and the peaks of the Schober Group can also be scaled in winter. The breath-taking Astental valley is perfect for an eventful ski tour, and there are also suitable routes for beginners.

Or the whole family might like to try an interesting snowshoe excursion in the region of the Hohe Tauern National Park, observing the wildlife including golden eagles and ibex and watching the live feeding of the bearded vultures.

In the evening, you might like to see out the day with an entertaining tobogganning party on the illuminated mountain slope or add ice-skating or ice-climbing to your schedule.
