About us
Our organic farm is situated at an elevation of 960 m, surrounded by pastures and forests, and offers wonderful views of the alpine pastures and the Hochschwab. Surrounded by the smell of herbs, you will learn to value country life with us and find your way back to nature. The many animals on the farm look forward to you petting them. You will learn about various wild herbs and their properties on our wild herb path, the many different smells in our farmhouse garden with wow you. Many an offshoot went home with our guests already.
About us
Our organic and herbal farm is located right after the restaurant Steirereck am Pogusch in a sunny location with a marvellous view of the pastures of Hochschwab. Sleep tight in the comfortably furnished rooms and indulge yourself with home-made organic goodies. Children can have fun with the cuddly animals, sleighs and tyres, lantern-lit walks, check for tracks of the indigenous wild animals, feed the wild animals etc. The "Winterwunder hiking trail" from Steirereck is just ideal for winter walks. Free sledge hire. A night toboggan run is at Steirereck. Ski school, beginner's lift, snowboard lift and flood-lit ski slope is in Turnau, which is just 5 minutes by car. Sleigh rides from the main square at Turnau. In winter you can go on various ski tours here, go snowshoeing, get yourself massages from our masseuse or simply relax and enjoy the winter.
Bei uns finden Sie das ganze Jahr über viele Tiere am Hof, wie Kälber, große Kalbinnen, Enten, Hühner mit Hahn, Hase, Katzen sowie unsere beiden Hofhunde Bella und Kira. In den Sommermonaten haben wir auch zwei Pferde zur 'Sommerfrische' am Hof. Schon der erste Eindruck, wenn Sie in den Hof kommen, ist eine harmonische Bauernhofidylle: Bella und Kira kommen zur Begrüßung, die Katzen sind irgendwo im Hofbereich zu sehen und warten auf Streichelenheiten, die Enten watscheln immer wieder kreuz und quer hin und her und sehr oft müssen die anreisenden Autos unsere Enten und Hühner über die Straße lassen, bevor sie überhaupt bis in den Hofbereich kommen. Das entlockt so manchem Gast schon vor der Begrüßung ein Schmunzeln. So soll´s doch sein am Bauernhof, oder????
